What is the cost of the program?

The cost of the program is $85 a week. There is a one-time registration fee of $25.00 for one child or $40.00 for two or more children.

What activities are included in the program?

Our program offers a variety of activities, including homework help, arts and crafts, sports, STEM projects, and outdoor play. There is also a weekly dance/tumbling class included in your tuition. We also have special themed days and guest presentations.

Is transportation provided?

Yes, we provide transportation from school to our after-school facility. Please contact us for details on the transportation schedule.

What is the student-to-teacher ratio?

We maintain a low student-to-teacher ratio to ensure each child receives individual attention. 

How do I register my child?

You can register your child online through our website or by visiting our office during regular hours. Registration forms and required documents are available at bdcafterschoolsummercamp.com or you can request them via email at bdcafterschoolsummercamp@gmail.com.

What should my child bring to the program?

Children should bring a water bottle, and any homework they need to complete. We provide all materials for activities, but children are welcome to bring their own if they wish.

How do you handle allergies and special dietary needs?

We take allergies and dietary restrictions seriously. Please inform us of any specific needs during registration so we can accommodate your child appropriately.

What is your discipline policy?

Our program uses positive reinforcement and redirection to manage behavior. We focus on teaching children conflict resolution skills and encourage respect for others. In the rare case of ongoing issues, we will work closely with parents to find a solution.

How do I communicate with the staff?

Parents can reach out to our staff via phone or email. We also send regular updates and
newsletters to keep parents informed.

What happens if my child is sick?

If your child is sick, please keep them at home to rest and recover. We require a 24-hour
symptom-free period before returning to the program. Please notify us if your child will be absent.

How do you ensure the safety of the children?

Safety is our top priority. Our facility is secured with cameras, locked doors, sign-in/out
procedures. All staff members are trained in first aid and CPR, and we conduct regular
emergency drills.

Do you offer special programs during school breaks?

Yes, we offer summer camp and activities during school breaks, including spring and winter break.

What are the qualifications of the staff?

Our staff members are experienced professionals with backgrounds in education, child
development, and recreation. All staff undergo thorough background checks, and they receive ongoing training in child safety and first aid.

How do you support children with special needs?

We strive to create an inclusive environment for all children. If your child has special needs, please discuss them with us during registration so we can work together to provide the best possible support. We may also collaborate with your child’s school or other professionals to ensure a smooth experience.

What is your policy on electronic devices?

We encourage children to focus on program activities and minimize screen time. Therefore, we ask that personal electronic devices such as smartphones, tablets, and gaming consoles be left at home.

How do you handle inclement weather or emergency closures?

In the event of severe weather or an emergency, we will follow the local school district's closure policy. Parents will be notified promptly via email, text, or Facebook of any closures or changes to the schedule.

How do I update my contact information or my child’s emergency contacts?

If you need to update your contact information or your child's emergency contacts, please inform us immediately. You can update this information by completing a new registration packet, or my emailing the office at bdcafterschoolsummercamp@gmail.com.
